| The Settlement house serves the Corona-Norco Community through the following programs: |

| *Thrift Store |
|
| |
|
| The Thrift Store operates Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. It provides clients with minimally priced clothing and household items. If the client has an emergency need of clothing, and no income whatsoever is available, the client may be able to obtain clothing at no charge after screening. Thrift Store is open to the public |

| *Food Pantry |
|
| |
|
| The Food Pantry is open Monday through Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. It distributes bagged groceries to low-income families and individuals who have cooking facilities with the following documentation: |

| 1) Photo identification for all adults in the house hold and Social Security cards for all members of the household, or birth certificate. For children immunization records are accepted. |
|
| |
|
| 2) Proof of income, e.g. check stubs or printout, Social Security award letter, or disability award letter. |
|
| |
|
| 3) Proof of current residence within the Corona-Norco Unified School District verified with rental agreement. |
|
| |
|
| Most needed food items are: |

| Pasta, rice & beans |
|

*Rent and Mortgage Assistance
|
|
| |
|
| Assistance is provided to persons with documented need: Clients must have both an eviction notice and a pending source of income for next moth's rent or mortgage to be eligible for assistance. An appointment must be made to ensure eligibility. |

| *Emergency Shelter |
|
| |
|
| Shelter is provided at the Circle of Hope and may also be provided after screening at a local motel for families with small children, pregnant women and senior citizens. A client must have a temporary need for shelter. |
|

|
| |
|
| *Utility Assistance |
|
| |
|
| Assistance is provided to persons with documented need. Clients must have both a discontinuance of service notice plus a pending source of income for next month's utility bill to be eligible for this assistance. An appointment must be made to ensure eligibility. |

|
| *Network Referral Service |
|
| |
|
| This program directs clients to agencies that provide services that the Settlement House is not able to provide. |
|
| |
|
| |
|
| *Back to School |
|
| |
|
| This program is co-sponsored by the Corona-Norco PTAs. When a child is recognized by the school as being in need of clothing and shoes, that child is given a voucher to Settlement House for three outfits of clothing, new underwear, and new shoes. All siblings in the family are eligible for clothing. |

| *Holiday Food Baskets |
|
| |
|
| Food Baskets are distributed prior to Christmas each year to low-income families and individuals and senior citizens in the Corona-Norco community. Clients are screened to ensure eligibility. Over 500 baskets are distributed yearly. Food for the baskets comes primarily from community donations and food drives. |

| *Holiday Toy Program |
|
| |
|
| Over 3,000 toys are gift wrapped and distributed at Christmas time to the children of low-income families and individuals in the Corona-Norco community. All toys come to us through community donations and toy drives. |
